South Shore Youth 0

Following a number of 'tight' games in both league and cup it was a more comfortable win for the Under 13s at home against South Shore. Having recovered well from the overnight frost the ground was in fine condition with a bright, but low, sunshine and no wind of note.

It was clear from the start that play was going to be pretty much one way when several near chances occurred in the South Shore goal area, but it was 11 minutes before the first was notched home. Several players found their way onto the goal-sheet as follows:

Ronan (1-0)
Ronan (2-0)
Chay (3-0)
Jack (4-0)
Josh (5-0)
Ali (6-0)
Josh (7-0)
Ali (8-0)
Will (Powell) (9-0)

With a clean sheet it would be wrong not to acknowledge the contribution of the defence and every one of them played their parts well. Going forward we saw some excellent play from the goal area all the way forward down both wings or through the middle.

Well done the whole squad for a job well done. Thanks too to South Shore for playing the game in such good spirtit.
