AFC Blackpool 0

Lytham started the second game like the first putting plenty of pressure on the AFC defence. This time however you could sense that the boys were not going to let up. Although the pressure was more relentless it took Lytham longer to register on the score sheet. A rare AFC attack saw Adam play the ball from defence to Liam who broke away and when you thought he was going to pull the trigger he found Shacker free who found the net with ease. Lytham then made it two before the break when a run saw Liam try his luck this time only for the fantastic AFC keeper to parry the ball to the waiting Kyle who smashed it home. The second half saw Graff take the reins in goal and Jammy come on in midfield. It didn’t take long for Lytham to get the third when 2nd half sub Dan sent a fantastic defence splitting pass through to Liam the Beast who finished with ease.
Lytham’s fourth came when a Liam shot on the turn was saved only for Shacker to nip in front of the defender to slot home. The fifth didn’t take long after that when Kyle broke into the box and got brought down for a penalty. No matter what the coaches said there was only going to be one taker as The Beast snatched the ball and put it on the spot. However his penalty was saved but only for him to smash the rebound home.
The sixth came when a Liam solo run ended when he found the net with one on one with the keeper. There was just time for Lytham to complete the score when Shacker broke free only to see is shot saved and for the beast to poach his fourth and to win his personal battle with the outstanding AFC keeper. Although the Lytham front three get all the paper talk a bit shout goes to Connor Slade who didn’t put a foot wrong and didn’t let AFC over the half way line for long periods giving him Man of the Match.
