Lytham v South Shore (15th March 08)

Game 1- Lytham 0 - 3 South Shore - This was an average game which we unfortunetly lost. Despite Lytham's interesting passing they pushed on all game and had many great chances to score, but the ball would just not go in the net. South Shore caught Lytham on the break a few times and as a result scored 3 scrappy goals. Well done to both teams!

Game 2- Lytham 2 - 4 South Shore - A great game to watch! Lytham passed the ball round extremely well and gave 100% all game. The defenders cleared the ball excellently and coped well under pressure, this giving the midfielders a chance to attack scoring 2 goals. Unfortunetly this did not last as South Shore scored a further 4 goals, all to be honest very well! Well done to both teams, and to Man of The Match Kai Lowe!

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
